Can I write to my student?

Yes, it always fun for students to write and receive letters, it is one of their favorite days. We will collect the letter your sponsor child wrote just for you and send it to your home address. This will happen approximately three times a year; We will advise you in advance of our travel dates so you can send your notes/letter/gifts to your student.

 Is this a contract? How long do I have to sponsor?

No. There is no contract. You can sponsor for as long as you would like to. In our experience, the relationship between you and your sponsor child always grows more robust over time. A unique connection forms, and we are sure it will be a memorable experience for you and your student.

Can I meet my sponsor child?

Yes, you can! We warmly welcome visitors to our schools in Kenya, and meeting your sponsor child is extraordinary. Details of upcoming trips can be found here.

Does a student ever leave our Schools? Can I sponsor another child?

Yes. Like in any school, students leave from time to time. Sometimes, it is due to them moving out of the area to follow a job opportunity or live with other family members. If circumstances change for your sponsor child, we will notify you immediately and join you together with another one of our students who need your support.
